It really speaks for itself and needs little to no words to describe it's beauty.
I was asked to paint it for a friend. And to be quite honest..... I was VERY nervous at first.
It was such a gorgeous piece on its own.... but it lacked personality and the details were just overlooked in a solid vanilla finish.
She wanted bold.... and gold.... so we just went for it!
I pulled unexpected shades ... and got to work!
We combined both vertical and horizontal stripes on the sides...and loads of harlequin on the front.... and finished it all with the gaudy gold on all the trim work. Seriously..... that trim work. Its loaded with detail..... and those HANDLES!
I am thankful every single day for the connection with others that appreciate color and whimsy as I do! This painting journey is NEVER dull..... NEVER boring..... and is ALWAYS fulfilling!
