Over three Friday nights, I'll paint a fabric chair from beginning to end---LIVE, explaining every decision, every layer, every technique along the way.

My in-person chair retreats continue to sell out almost a year in advance.

A Spring 2027 retreat will be announced soon.

Until then, The Painted Chair Retreat at Home is the closest way to experience the full chair-painting process with me --- LIVE, start to finish.

*replay will be available for repeat viewing and for those that cannot attend the LIVE class*

LOCATION: Online in a private Facebook group.  The link to join the group will be provided via email once you've registered.  

SUPPLIES:  A list of supplies will be available in the private Facebook group after joining.

(You do NOT need to purchase supplies prior to class.....only if you plan to paint along with me)

At Home Retreat FAQs

Do I need prior experience painting furniture?

No.  This class is designed for beginners AND experienced painters.  I walk through every step from start to finish.

Will I need a special kind of chair?

I will provide guidance on what to look for when choosing a chair.  Type of fabric does matter.  Many students use a chair they already have or find one second hand.  

Are supplies included?

Supplies are not included.  You'll receive a complete supply list so you can gather everything ahead of time.  

What if I can't attend the LIVE classes?

All sessions are recorded.  You'll have lifetime access to the replays.

How long are the classes?

There are three live sessions, each approximately three hours long, held on Friday nights.

Is this the same as your in-person retreat?

This class teaches the same start-to-finish hair process I teach in my in person retreat --- just without the travel, lodging, or supplied materials.  

Where does this class take place? How do I watch?

This live class takes place inside a private Facebook group.  

After you register, you'll receive a link to request access to the group.  All live sessions, replays, resources and updates will be shared there before and during the class.  

Do I need to have Facebook to take this class?

To participate live, yes -- a Facebook account is required.

However, if you do not use Facebook and still want this training:

- You may enroll now at the live class rate

- After the live class concludes, you will receive access to the recorded version, supply list and resources outside of Facebook.

This allows you to receive the full training even if you're not able to attend live.  

Will I still have access after the Facebook group closes?

Yes.  you will receive lifetime access to the class replays once the live experience is complete. These will be viewable outside of Facebook and directly from your account on my website.  

Will this be offered again?

This is a LIVE experience.  A recorded version may be offered later at a higher price point.
