March Riverside Paint Retreat: Chairs & Teapots Week

Join us for 4 days/3 nights at our Riverside Paint Retreat: Chairs & Teapots Week, located at the relaxing and down-home style, 7-acre riverside ranch in Brazoria, Texas. Experience hands-on DIY painting instruction, community with like-minded people, good food, nature, and FUN! Learn from Tracey Bellion of Tracey's Fancy in an immersive, all-inclusive experience.

• WHEN- March 2 - March 5, 2024 (4 days, 3 nights)

• WHERE- 337 Lazy Oak Ranch St. Brazoria, TX 77422 (nearest airport is William P. Hobby Airport in Houston, Texas [HOU])

• WHO- Tracey Bellion of Tracey's Fancy to be joined by 32 attendees, hosted by Wana York

• WHAT- All-immersive artistic retreat with other crazy cool chicks

Daily workshops - the focus:

-PAINTING ON FABRIC CHAIRS

• Overall design for chairs

• Art on painted chairs using freestyle drawing, templates, stencils, decoupage, transfers, and paint and blending

-PAINTING ON SILVER-PLATED TEAPOTS

• Prepping for painting on silverplate

• Overall design for the teapot

• Art on teapot using paint, blending, patterns, decoupage, transfers, and gilding waxes

INCLUDED: 

-LODGING - Bunkhouse-style accommodation

-ALL MEALS

-Your chair to paint

-Your teapot (feel free to bring your own, just let us know!)

-Paint, materials, and a better-than-Christmas goodie bag! 

Time to connect with others NEXT to the river...AROUND the fire....and OVER art!

• This event is BYOB - feel free to bring your own alcohol!

• No private rooms available

• Bring any special foods required if you have dietary restrictions

• Any instruments are welcome! (We love our late-night singing!)

• You get to keep your painted furniture piece or leave it with us to donate to a local charity

I am so incredibly excited for our third year of Riverside Paint Retreat!  I am HONORED to have been given the opportunity to bring women together to share our creative passions! The planning of this retreat has truly become the highlight of any of my endeavors!  Every year I leave with a replenished spirit and inspired soul!   And I am ever so thankful to Wana for opening her beautiful home to us again!
