When you are known by everyone as a painter.....they ask you to paint everything!!
Does this happen to you?
I am ESPECIALLY asked to personalize items....and to make boring factory object more interesting!
This brings me to laminate furniture (think Ikea) and other items (think from Amazon in a box).
Laminate items are affordable....and quite sturdy....but often not very appealing to look at! They are also difficult to paint if you don't have the right products!
When the chalk paint craze started......everyone stayed completely clear of IKEA furniture as it was known as UN-paintable! That backed on finish would NOT accept paint or primer of any kind!
Well that has changed my friends!!
Slick Stick is the "end all your slick surface troubles" hero! It primes and preps any slick surface for chalk type paints....such as glass, metal, ceramic, tile, laminate and high-gloss surfaces!
One coat of this product and you are ready to move on your merry chalk painting way!!
It is water-based, no fumes, non-toxic and easy to use!
Your project now has the solid, dependable, durable, full of tooth (just the way us painters like it) surface that you need to make your personalized and unique painted project a success!
Amazon has many great products for children! It is easy to order and have them shipped right to your door!
I have my clients order the products that they want customized....and have them shipped to MY door to be customized. You can see two examples of little girl dress up carts here and here! These were both ordered by my clients and shipped directly to me to paint! They arrived in a box....I put them together....and painted them in the color asked for by my clients! I've done rocking horses, world globes, baby cradles and more!
The products listed here are exactly what I used on this custom foot stool! Dixie Belle Paint company offers amazing products that will make all of your projects successful no matter what your skill level! You can also my favorite products and tools in my Amazon influencer list here.
