I know I've said this SO MANY times.....but baby nurseries are just my jam!
There is just something so special about being asked to create plank walls, furniture, wall art, mobiles.....whatever it is that mommas need from me to make their baby nursery visions come true!
This particular "momma-to-be" had her nursery well planned out....and just needed me to create the feature wall....for the very plain and boring wall you see below.

I always ask my clients to send me photos of the nursery plans....or items that have been purchased for the room. When I saw the "cottage" style of the furniture.....I instantly thought of rosebuds! I explained my vision....and she was very open to it!
Tissue paper on planks!
It was so easy and really so much fun! You can see the examples on the boards below. I used my hand sander to heavily distress each tissue paper board.....for that old chippy look.
It is just amazing how much this wall warmed up the room. It gave an instant cottage vibe.....which is exactly the look my client was after!
It is so much fun working with clients who are completely trusting of my design ideas. I really couldn't be happier with the outcome!
I have since used this same tissue paper technique on several projects!!!
