Surely you aren't tired of denim jackets yet!! There is NO end to the possibilities when it comes to creating wearable art.....especially when it comes to reppin' your favorite team! This custom volleyball denim jacket is my first "ball" sports team jacket!
My cheerleader jackets are filled with bling and bows...this one....not so much!
However, this one really shows how cute these jackets can be even without all the frills!

The Creative Process
The creative process is exactly the same as all the others!
Choose and draw your design.
Get creative with this and give drawing by hand a try! You can use items in your home to trace for shapes! I use a lot of plates in my art....such as this time for the volleyball!
And I used a ruler to draw my stripes.
Supplies Used: Custom Sports Team Jacket
Chalk Mineral Paints (4 oz sizes would be perfect for this type of project)
Your colors choices will be unique to your project but these are the chalk mineral paint colors that I used for this project...

Lettering!
I used two types of lettering on this jacket.
Handlettering was done in script with chalk first....and then painted over. Lettering stamps were used for the athletes name across the back.
I love using these stamps so much!! They make adding messages to projects so easy!
I like making a statement of some sort on the sleeve of the jacket if the client is okay with it.
This time....I added a swipe or two of white paint on the arm...and then stamped the name of the school on top of that.

I love how this turned out and my client loves it too!
Doesn't she look adorable?
She plans to wear this proudly to all of her daughters volleyball games!
She's warned me to be ready for more custom sports team denim jacket requests!
