You then paint your second color by filling in the fatter horizontal lines shown below. I prefer to move my tape while the paint is still wet/damp. This rich and dramatic color infused red and gold dresser was SO fulfilling to paint!!! This red and gold dresser was custom painted for a couple who live in Boston. But I do know it was probably close to a 3 parts DBP paint to 1 part acrylic paint. carvings on them that I could have easily wood filled and painted over.
